The Baltimore Ravens got a much needed clutch performance from their rookie receiver on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brown was a favorite target of quarterback Joe Flacco on Sunday, drawing 11 throws toward his direction. Despite snowy conditions, Brown hauled in seven catches for 92 yards and a game-winning 9-yard touchdown reception with four seconds left in the game. Because of atrocious field conditions, the Ravens relied on underneath and intermediate routes, and the 6'5 receiver capitalized on the chances he was given.
Fantasy Spin: It was Brown and Dennis Pitta who highlighted the receiving game on Sunday, as each receiver drew double-digit targets instead of leading receiver Torrey Smith. But despite the 20-plus point effort in PPR leagues, fantasy owners likely did not start Brown, who had only caught three passes over his three games preceding Sunday's barnburner.
Because of Brown's variance from week to week, it's difficult for fantasy owners to see a repeat performance in the tea leaves despite a favorable matchup versus the Detroit Lions in Week 15. Consider Brown a boom-or-bust option that is better suited for a bench spot during the fantasy football playoffs.
