Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch has had some uncharacteristically poor games this season, and Sunday's outing against the San Francisco 49ers falls somewhere in the middle. Lynch carried the ball 20 times for 72 yards which is decent, but that equates to a per-carry average of just 3.6 yards, below Lynch's season average of 4.3 yards, which itself is low.

Still, Lynch did have a touchdown in the game, which helped the Seahawks to an early lead. The 49ers did win the game though, 19-17, delaying Seattle’s clinching of the NFC West. Lynch has carries for totals of 45 and 54 yards in his previous two games, with per-carry averages of 2.8 and 3.2 yards.
Fantasy Impact: There shouldn't be any worry about Lynch going forward, however. The New Orleans Saints stacked the box, allowing the Seahawks to throw all over them, and the 49ers are just a very good defensive team. Lynch fantasy owners should keep him in the lineup with confidence heading into the final weeks of fantasy football. There's no reason to be anything other than confident in him at this point.
