San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin had a solid day against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14. Boldin had six receptions for 93 yards, though he wasn't able to find the end zone. Boldin was targeted eight times, and was shadowed by Richard Sherman for much of the game, making his outing all the more impressive.

Meanwhile, Michael Crabtree had four receptions for 40 yards, and also saw eight targets go his way. Crabtree was playing in just his second game this season, but looked solid going up against the very physical Byron Maxwell. Crabtree did have at least two drops, though one was rather high and the other rather low.
Crabtree is the best receiver the 49ers have, but he's rusty and coming off injury, and Boldin is thriving without double coverage on him. The best thing to happen to Boldin was Crabtree and Mario Manningham getting healthy, as the coverage units were previously divided upon Boldin and tight end Vernon Davis almost exclusively.
Fantasy Impact: The return of Crabtree has been huge for Boldin, and should be throughout the rest of the season. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Crabtree himself isn’t such a smart bet for the final weeks of this fantasy season, unless you happen to have room for him as a WR3 or something similar. He’s going to catch passes, but whether or not he puts up big numbers is anybody’s guess.
