The Cowboys have had no reason to take to the air much, as the Bears run defense has been unable to shed blocks or stop Murray before ripping off huge gains on the ground. Murray has logged 99 yards on 13 carries and chipped in nine yards on two catches in the first half of play. Murray’s half could have been even bigger with a carry that almost resulted in a touchdown, but he was ruled out of bounds at the 2-yard line. The drive was instead capped by a touchdown reception by Dez Bryant.
Fantasy Spin: Versus a team that has given up the third-most fantasy points to running backs this season and an NFL worst 5.0 yards per carry and 153 yards per game, Murray's big game shouldn't be a surprise. Murray's production should continue with the Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins next on the schedule, especially with the latter allowing even more fantasy points per game to running backs than the Bears have this season, according to the settings of Yahoo! standard scoring leagues.
As for the horrid Bears run defense, they round out the fantasy season versus an anemic Cleveland Browns run game and the elite attack of the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16. LeSean McCoy will be the top option that week, and the Browns' duo of Willis McGahee and Chris Ogbonnaya garner flex consideration.
