DeAndre Hopkins gaining fantasy street cred, Lestar Jean looks good in win
First-round pick DeAndre Hopkins turned some heads on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Texans had success in the air on Friday with their 306 yards on 31-of-44 passing. Of course, the team is built on the run and they’re wise to use the preseason to solidify their weaker half of the play chart. Hopkins was drafted in the first round and the team has high hopes for him. He sports XXXL gloves and he’s having an eye-catching training camp.
Fantasy impact: Hopkins in in the the mold of a receiver that can dominate. He has all the tools and figures to get most of the snaps in two-WR sets. The problem is that Andre Johnson commands a ton of targets and the Texans are still going to be a run-first team. Hopkins is still worth drafting and those that decide to take Andre Johnson in 12- or 14- team leagues, might want to draft Hopkins late as an insurance policy.
