Though Rueben Randle did not see extended action on Saturday night's Giants preseason opener, he did run with the first-team offense and received three targets in wake of Hakeem Nicks' absence.
Rueben Randle shows promise in Giants preseason opener
Rueben Randle had a nice reception and a goal-line target during the Giants preseason opener. We break down the fantasy implications.

Randle's only catch of the night came on a tunnel screen, but he made two defenders miss while showing burst and agility in what culminated in a 16-yard reception. He also received a coveted goal-line target, but it was knocked away by Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor.
Fantasy Spin: Historically, Eli Manning has often utilized a three-receiver corps, dating back to when guys like Steve Smith and Mario Manningham were go-to targets in addition to Nicks and Cruz. There is much reason to believe there is room for Randle in this offense now that he has a year under his belt and has been impressing all summer long with his performances in camp. If Nicks misses time, Randle would be a great play during those weeks, so he's worth a bench stash.
