Giants quarterback Eli Manning only threw five passes in Saturday night's preseason opener versus the Steelers, but that's all it took to make his presence known.
Eli Manning makes his mark in Giants preseason opener
Eli Manning threw a long touchdown to Victor Cruz in the Giants preseason opener versus Pittsburgh. We break down the fantasy implications.

His two completions consisted of a screen pass to Rueben Randle and a 57-yard bomb to Victor Cruz along the seam, a type of throw and catch that Manning has perfected with his receivers over the years. Two of his three incomplete passes were along the goal line and well-covered.
Fantasy Spin: Manning was very up-and-down from week-to-week a season ago, but even with Hakeem Nicks' health scaring fantasy owners away, there will be no shortage of quality targets for Manning to throw to in 2013. Manning hasn't lost a beat with Victor Cruz, and the emergence of Randle this summer and new tight end Brandon Myers will make matters easier for him. Quarterback is a deep position this season once again, and on average, Manning is the 13th quarterback off of the board in Yahoo! leagues. He would be a bargain at that price, and he will once again be a candidate for 4,000 yards and 25-plus touchdowns.
