Bernard Pierce returns to practice on Monday, remains a solid fantasy pick
Bernard Pierce was back at practice on Monday after his mild injury on Friday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Pierce went down on his 20-yard touchdown run and was able to walk off to the sideline under his own power. He did not return to the game and the injury was never considered serious. The second-year back had a 4.9 yards-per-carry average on his 39 totes last year.
Fantasy impact: It's good to hear that Pierce is healthy. The Ravens have put their cards on the table that they need some help on the offensive side. They brought on Brandon Stokley and Dallas Clark to help allieviate their gaping holes, but it'll be tough to count on them over the course of the season. The team has been lining up Ray Rice at receiver, which should certainly open up some opportunities for Pierce in the running game.
Most signs point to them being a run-heavy team, so it’s reasonable to think that Pierce could average over double-digit touches. What’s more, he’s arguably the best handcuff in fantasy football and would be a must-start player should Rice miss time. He should be drafted as a flex in standard leagues.
