Flynn is currently the top quarterback at camp, and is in line to be the starter going forward. He battling with Terrelle Pryor, Matt McGloin and rookie Tyler Wilson, but made the start in the team's first preseason game. On top of that, he's taking almost all of the reps with the first team in practice.
Needless to say, the Raiders aren’t in a desirable situation as far as their quarterbacks go. It’s unlikely the coaches put it so blankly as to say that Flynn can’t throw for more than 25 yards, but he’ll definitely find more success with the shorter throws.
Fantasy Impact: Flynn might end up being a decent quarterback who gets the Raiders some wins in a shaky AFC West, but he’s not a strong fantasy option. He was never going to be anything more than a reserve for fantasy owners and the thought that he can’t complete passes over 25 yards with any amount of success means he’s probably not even worth that.
