Tom Brady (knee) leaves practice after knee tweak, no word on status
Tom Brady left practice with a left knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Tom Brady (knee) left Wednesday's practice with a left knee injury. He threw a short pass to Aaron Dobson on the play, returned one play later for a few plays, then decided to leave after consulting with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and head coach Bill Belichick.
It's a smart move for the Patriots and they're going to play it safe with their star quarterback. The Patriots should still be able to survive with all of their losses to offensive personnel, but they absolutely could not survive without Brady. We will wait for more details before assessing the extent of the injury.
Fantasy impact: Any fantasy impact requires us to wait until more details come out in the coming days. This is the same knee that cost him 15 games in the 2008 season after Bernard Pollard tackled him, tearing Brady's ACL. Brady and the Patriots offense is a powerhouse and they'll be looking for plenty of replacements with young players. His weapons are probably going to have some drops and have a tougher time getting in space, but Brady's favorite receiver has always been the open one. Given the depth at the position this year, fantasy owners should wait a few rounds before pouncing on a quarterback.
