The Philadelphia Eagles have yet to name a starting quarterback, possibly due to the fact that both Michael Vick and Nick Foles have looked pretty good in the preseason. For the second-straight week though, Vick has looked better than Foles.
Michael Vick impresses in Eagles QB battle; fantasy value seems high
Michael Vick was impressive for the second-straight week and seems to lead the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback battle. We break down the implications.

Vick went 9-for-10 for 105 yards in the 14-9 win over the Carolina Panthers, playing the second quarter after the Eagles gave Foles the start in the first quarter. His only incompletion was a Hail Mary pass that was intercepted at the end of the first half. Vick also started the first preseason game, and has a combined 13-for-15 mark with 199 yards in the two games.
Foles played well in this second game, too. He completed 6 of 8 passes for 53 yards (11-for-14 for 96 yards in two games), but he did have a bad interception in the end zone when he was trying to get rid of the ball. At this point, Vick definitely has a leg-up in the competition, however.
Fantasy Impact: It's anybody's guess as to whether or not the Eagles can turn things around and be competitive again, but they were always going to have some solid fantasy options like LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson. Vick getting closer to winning the quarterback battle is probably a good sign for fantasy owners, as he seems to have more offensive firepower and tools at his disposal. Whether Vick himself is an option is still up for debate, but he probably gives the Eagles the best chance to succeed at this point.
