Richardson's preseason debut has been much anticipated, especially given that he is expected to carry the load for the Browns this season. Brandon Weeden may be impressing in the preseason, but Richardson will be the bell cow of that offense, and given his injury history, getting into the preseason was important for the team and the fans.
It’s likely we’ll see a good deal of Richardson in the third preseason game, barring any injury setbacks in practice or anything to that effect.
Fantasy Impact: Richardson managed 950 yards and 11 touchdowns in 15 games last season, and by all accounts, he’s looking much-improved this offseason. If he can build on his rookie season and really take control of that Cleveland offense, he could be a solid option in fantasy, especially as a reserve for your bye weeks.
