Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano said that Doug Martin (head) is "going to be fine" following his head injury from Friday night's preseason game. He finished Friday's contest with one carry and four yards.

It’s always a scary thought when there’s a head injury, but the Bucs look to be in the clear with their star running back. Martin was able to stay healthy in his rookie year, finishing with 1,926 yards from scrimmage, 12 scores and 49 receptions in 16 games.

Fantasy impact: He was one of the best picks in fantasy football last year and there's really nothing that would lead us to believe that Martin will lose a step. In fact, he's actually in a better position this year since he lost offensive guard Carl Nicks for half of a season and offensive tackle Davin Joseph for the entire 2012 season.

The Bucs are equipped with a favorable schedule and their defense should be better with major improvements in their secondary, so it should be the Doug Martin show yet again. He's locked in as a top-five pick and he have no qualms about taking him with the second pick in PPR or standard leagues. On a side note, backup Peyton Hillis won't be worth drafting while Martin is healthy.
