Patriots receiver Aaron Dobson was targeted five times on Friday night against the Buccaneers, catching two balls for 30 yards and no TDs in a win.
Aaron Dobson loses a bit of steam Friday, still a decent fantasy sleeper
Aaron Dobson is losing ground to Kenbrell Thompkins. We break down the fantasy implications.

The bad news here is that of 12 of Brady's pass attempts, none of them were to Dobson. For those scoring at home, four of his targets came from Ryan Mallet and one came from Tim Tebow. Dobson was the starter for Week 1 of the preseason, but that distinction went to Kenbrell Thompkins this week.
Fantasy impact: It’s a tough pill to swallow for those that were all aboard the Dobson train. He is a more talented player than Thompkins and has some skills at going up and making plays, but Thompkins seems to be catching on more quickly than the fellow rookie.
At this point, Thompkins is looking like a better pick in fantasy leagues, but given the upside and play-making ability of Dobson, we still wouldn’t rule him as a late-round pick.
