Bill quarterback E.J. Manuel was efficient in Friday's preseason game, converting on 10 of his 12 pass attempts good for 92 yards, one score and a 126.4 passer rating against the Vikings. He added just one rush for one yard.
E.J. Manuel creating separation from Kevin Kolb, on the fantasy radar
E.J. Manuel continues his hot preseason and looks like the Bills starter. We break down the fantasy implications.

He was conservative yet again and the Bills haven't really allowed him to unleash his skills to get the ball down the field. Interestingly, of Manuel's 21 attempts in the first preseason game, only two of them traveled more than 15 yards down the field. Although, his 16-of-21 with a TD and a 102.7 passer rating in that game still solid.
Fantasy impact: After the explosions of Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III last year, Manuel is going to garner some attention as a sleeper pick. While he's far from the talent that those aforementioned QBs are, he's firmly on the radar as a pick in deep leagues.
Manuel is a dual threat and draws some comparisons to Cam Newton, which is obviously a bit of a stretch considering Newton’s massive rookie year. He still has a ton to prove and there are probably about 16 other quarterbacks worth drafting at this point. Although, if you wait on a QB, his upside makes him an alluring pick. Plan accordingly.
