San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis appears to have developed more chemistry with quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area noted that the duo had impressive performances in training camp, and Davis himself is impressed with Kaepernick's progress:
Vernon Davis developing chemistry with Colin Kaepernick, fantasy stock on the rise
Vernon Davis is having a solid training camp and is on the same page with quarterback Colin Kaepernick. We break down the fantasy implications.

“Last year when he first got the starting job, we’d be at practice and he’d keep overthrowing me. I’d be running as fast as I possibly could and Colin just kept overthrowing me,” Davis said. “Now we get out there and it’s night and day. He puts the ball right there. Man, he’s come a long way. I’m very impressed.”
Davis recorded 41 receptions for 548 yards and five touchdowns last season, but he wasn’t always on the same page with Kaepernick, having just 12 catches for 144 yards and one touchdown in seven games when Kaepernick took the starting job.
Fantasy impact: By all accounts, Davis and Kaepernick have been a lethal combination in training camp and preseason. If that momentum carries over into the regular season, look for him to lead the team in fantasy numbers with the 49ers’ receiving corps thinned by injuries. Davis is a solid TE1 pick in most fantasy leagues.
