Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday. Welker injured his ankle in Saturday's preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, but he appears to have avoided a high ankle sprain.
Wes Welker returns to practice, fantasy concern only minor
Wes Welker was back at practice Thursday after getting a minor ankle injury in last week’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Head coach John Fox says that he will miss the rest of preseason, but the injury is minor and he would be suiting up if this were the regular season. From the Associated Press:
“If we had a game tomorrow, he’d be out there,” Fox said. “This is preseason, we’re trying to get ready for our regular season and yet still hone our skills to get ready for that.”
Fantasy impact: Sounds like Welker dodged a bullet. He will be ready to go for the regular season and this news shouldn’t affect his fourth round ADP. Welker remains more valuable in PPR scoring than standard leagues, but he should still see plenty of targets in Peyton Manning’s offense.
