The fantasy world held its collective breath when Spiller grabbed his knee in pain after scoring a two-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. The source of the injury was a cleat that pierced Spiller’s knee, although it did not cause any serious damage. Spiller returned to game action, carrying the ball three more times before he was benched for the rest of the day.
Fantasy Spin: Though bloodied and bruised, Spiller survived the preseason dress rehearsal, and is in line to start Week 1. His fantasy owners should resume their plans of doing the same, as Spiller has looked his usual electric self this preseason and will be the Bills workhorse back.
