Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson made it clear that he's doing just fine in preseason action on Sunday, and should be rock-solid for fantasy owners this year. Johnson played one half among other starters against the New Orleans Saints, and had the kind of stats you'd expect after a full game in the regular season.
Andre Johnson plays well, fantasy value as high as ever
Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson played well on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson caught seven passes for 131 yards, including a long of 39 yards before calling it a day at halftime. He was Houston’s leading receiver, and contributed to the team’s 365 receiving yards on the day. The Texans didn’t end up winning, as New Orleans was more consistent overall en route to their 31-23 win, but Johnson played just fine.
Fantasy Impact: Johnson is one of the top fantasy receivers, and has been for every season in which he's played the majority of games. He caught 112 passes for a career high 1,598 yards and four touchdowns last season. Fantasy owners shouldn't take him before Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions, but Johnson has as big a claim for the second-best receiver in the NFL as any.
