New York Giants running back Andre Brown suffered a fractured leg in Thursday' s preseason game and could be out for a while, head coach Tom Coughlin told the New York Daily News.
Andre Brown loses early-season fantasy value with cracked leg
Andre Brown suffered a fractured leg in Thursday’s preseason finale and will be out indefinitely. We break down the fantasy implications.

Brown limped off the field in the third quarter with the injury, although he believes it’s only a cracked bone and that he didn’t hear any pop when going down. He will not require surgery and is using a walking boot without crutches. He believes that he will be back in a couple weeks and won’t have to go on injured reserve/designated to return.
Fantasy impact: Sounds like the Giants have dodged a bullet, but this news should just about take Brown off draft boards entirely. David Wilson is now locked in as the undisputed starter, and the Giants don't have any credible threats behind him to steal third down and goal line snaps. He's an RB1 in all fantasy formats now.
