David Wilson will get goal-line work, fantasy value on the rise
David Wilson will get the goal-line work for the Giants. He’s been on the rise all season and now has some of the highest upside in the league.
“Going into it, [goal line] was mainly [Brown’s] job,” Wilson said. “We had a package where he was the guy to go in and get those tough yards. Now that he’s out, I’m gonna definitely have to step up.” Wilson had already been one of the most impressive backs in the preseason, posting a a whopping 7.46 yards per carry.

The Giants have a potent offense on paper with three above-average receivers and a two-time Super Bowl MVP at quarterback. They were sixth in the NFL and scoring last year, but their offensive line isn't the greatest. Wilson can catch passes and the team has used him on more than just screen routes, so the value is there in PPR leagues, too. He won't be making it past the middle of the third round in just about any league and should be viewed as a low-end RB1.
