On Monday, the Washington Redskins listed veteran wide receiver Santana Moss as a third-string receiver on one side of the team's depth chart, behind Josh Morgan and Leonard Hankerson. Normally this would be cause for concern but longtime NFL reporter David Elfin says Moss remains the team's No. 3 wide receiver and will play in the slot when the team uses a three wide receiver set.
Santana Moss low on Redskins depth chart, should still have his moments for fantasy owners
Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss is listed lower than fantasy owners might like on the team’s depth chart but he should still get his share of chances. We break down the fantasy implications.

Moss had 41 catches for 573 yards and eight touchdowns with the Redskins last season, so it’s hard to imagine him not being a factor at different times throughout the season.
Fantasy Impact: This is one of these things that happen during training camp but Elfin is correct to point out the role Moss will have in the offense.
Moss is by no means an elite fantasy wide receiver but there will be times when he can be used as a No. 3 or flex play during bye weeks.
