Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) believes that he will be back at practice in about a week, according to the team's website.
Ahmad Bradshaw hoping to return to practice in a week, add clarity to Colts fantasy backfield
Ahmad Bradshaw said that he expects to practice in a week while the team beat writer adds his thoughts on the competition at running back with Vick Ballard.

Ahmad Bradshaw and "foot injury" are about as synonymous as it gets in the injury world. He's had foot problems every year since 2009, so obviously there should be some expectation that this won't go away. On the other hand, he produced nicely for the Giants last year, totaling 1,015 rushing yard and six TDs on 4.2 yards per carry.
Fantasy impact: The competition between Bradshaw and last year's starter, Vick Ballard, is "friendly." The Colts don't exactly have the most run-friendly offense and even with Bruce Arians out of the picture, it's hard to imagine they will improve much on their 22nd-ranked rushing O from last season.
Once he proves healthy, Bradshaw figures to be the main man in the backfield since Ballard didn’t exactly dazzle in his rookie season last year. It’s not a bad idea to take Bradshaw in the middle of your draft since the upside is there, but don’t expect him to play more than 13 games.
