Robert Griffin III got off to a slow start on Monday Night Football against the explosive Philadelphia Eagles. Griffin uncharacteristically threw two interceptions and took three sacks, looking less than sharp in his return from an ACL injury that occurred eight months ago. Otherwise, Griffin was 30 of 49 for 329 yards and two touchdowns while rushing five times for 24 yards. Griffin was rusty early, but seemed to get in gear in the second half.
Robert Griffin III rusty performance likely to leave fantasy owners concerned
Robert Griffin III’s slow start potentially gives fantasy owners reason for concern as he put in a lackluster performance on Monday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: At the moment fantasy owners can't be overly concerned but Griffin's situation bears watching. Since the season ending injury, Griffin has not played, entering his second season with limited reps in camp. He is a terrific athlete but young players benefit from practice and playing time with their teammates. The Redskins travel to Green Bay to face the Packers in Week 2. The Packers defense allowed 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick to throw for 412 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Griffin can safely be played in all fantasy leagues against this matchup.
