Michael Vick scores 3 touchdowns for fantasy owners in Eagles season opener
Chip Kelly’s rapid offense allowed his quarterback to light up a few fantasy scoreboards. We break down the fantasy implications.

Vick was one of the primary beneficiaries of Chip Kelly’s up-tempo assault, and was too much for the Redskins defense to handle in the game’s early stages. With 190 yards at the half, and eventually a 33-7 lead soon after, the Eagles went into clock-killing mode and sapped Vick’s potential point totals by going with a ground-heavy game plan.
Fantasy Spin: The Eagles offense ran 77 plays in the game, with 53 in the first half alone. That kind of pace will give not only Vick some opportunities to put up fantasy points, but several other members of Eagles offense. Even with an uneventful second half, Vick scored 25 fantasy points in standard leagues, and left his fantasy owners giddy with what’s in store for an offense that will run plenty of plays -- and from the look of it -- score plenty of points.
