The Eagles’ top wideout caught seven passes for 104 yards and a touchdown in the team’s season opener. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackson also led the team with nine targets, and often picked up huge chunks of yards while in space throughout the game. He flashed several times, but especially on his lone touchdown catch when he beat DeAngelo Hall badly and distanced himself from the Redskins corner by at least five yards at the point of the catch. All of Jackson's catches came in the first half of the game, as the team went into clock-milking mode after taking a 33-7 lead early in the third quarter.
Fantasy Spin: Jackson asserted himself as the top receiver in the offense to no one’s surprise, but the extent of how he did so is encouraging for fantasy owners. Without having such a large lead early in the game, it’s fair to assume that Jackson would have been plenty more involved in the game plan as time progressed, but his gawdy first-half totals were plenty enough for his frequent WR2/WR3 designation. The new-look Eagles offense is poised to put up plenty of points and log plenty of total plays, and with Jackson as a point of focus, there’s no reason to think this success won’t continue.
