Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles took part in a walk-through on Wednesday, but he did not take part in team drills, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN. Charles inured his quad in the third quarter of Kansas City's Week 1 opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He left the game in the third quarter and did not return.
Jamaal Charles participated in walk-through, status for Week 2 unknown
Jamaal Charles participated in a walk-through on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

It's unclear if Charles will be ready to go for Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, but missing practice isn't a huge deal. Obviously, the team would like him there and it's better for him to be fresh, but he knows the offense and is a long-time veteran of the league, so he will be able to go out and start without any practice time.
Charles had 77 rushing yards and a touchdown and had three receptions for 23 yards against the Jags. He definitely wants to play in Week 2, but we won’t know more until the official injury report on Friday.
Fantasy Impact: Charles is one of the bigger fantasy football running backs. He’s generally drafted high, and he almost always puts up the big numbers fantasy owners love. Unfortunately, his injury history is well known, and it’s part of the package you get when you draft him. Smart money is on him playing in Week 2, and even if he’s not 100 percent, you just can’t leave a player like him on the bench.
