Davis, who caught 47 passes for 529 yards and 11 touchdowns in four years in Chicago, is expected to slot in behind incumbent tight end Zach Miller on the team’s depth chart.
Fantasy impact: This is likely to mean little to nothing to fantasy owners, as Davis has never been a very viable fantasy performer even when he had a regular job. For now, he’s relevant in only the deepest of leagues.
Ultimately, this is unlikely to have meaning unless Miller suffers an injury -- the Seahawks have only Miller, Davis, and the banged-up Willson as tight ends on the 53-man roster, so any missed time for Miller could mean increased looks for Davis.
