Heath Miller returns to Steelers practice this week, fantasy value remains minimal
The Steelers top tight end returned to practice this week for the first time since sustaining a torn ACL in 2012. We break down the fantasy implications.

Miller has gradually gotten work in all summer, and is now practicing with the team after being limited to individual workouts in every week prior. It’s an encouraging sign of progress after Miller suffered a torn ACL late in the 2012 season, although the exact week that Miller will return to game action is unknown.
Fantasy Spin: Miller logged the fourth-highest total of fantasy points among tight ends in standard leagues a season ago, but it’s not looking like he will be anywhere near that level in 2013. Tight end has the look of a very deep position this season, and with so many options on the table, owners would be better advised to find one that isn’t recovering from major surgery. Until Miller gets on the field and shows he is back to his old self, he is not worth a roster spot.
