Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts III was limited in practice with a groin injury. It's the second day in a row he's been limited, but the team isn't expecting him to miss Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.
Cecil Shorts limited in practice, expected to play Sunday
Cecil Shorts is dealing with a groin issue and was limited in practice Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Shorts played every offensive snap in Jacksonville's season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs. He was held to three catches for 40 yards as the Jaguars offense sputtered all afternoon, failing to even cross midfield until halfway through the fourth quarter. Chad Henne will start at quarterback after Blaine Gabbert sliced his hand open.
Fantasy impact: Shorts can be a capable WR3 under normal circumstances, but the Jaguars do not have normal circumstances right now. He did show more chemistry with Henne last season than he ever did with Gabbert, so he has a good chance to rebound against Oakland's woeful defense. Shorts is worth taking a gamble on this week. He and Maurice Jones-Drew are the only Jaguars players worth owning in fantasy right now.
