Aaron Dobson caught three passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in the first NFL action of his career. He finished second on the Patriots with ten targets from Tom Brady. Kenbrell Thompkins caught two of his seven targets for 47 yards.
Aaron Dobson, Kenbrell Thompkins out of sync, fantasy value limited
Tom Brady’s receivers weren’t on the same page as him during Thursday night’s game in Foxborough. We break down the fantasy implications.

While Dobson’s stat line looked better, his touchdown came on completely blown coverage by the Jets. All he had to do was catch the ball and jog straight ahead.
Fantasy impact: It was a fluke score for Dobson, who managed to drop several passes and draw the ire of Brady on the sideline. The Patriots quarterback openly displayed his discontent for his receivers after a miscommunication near the goal line.
Thompkins received all the hype in the preseason, but he isn’t doing much with his playing time. He caught a 38-yard pass down the sideline at one point, but he couldn’t stay in bounds on what would have been a touchdown. Both receivers are tough to start at this point.
