Chris Ivory rushed for 52 yards on 12 carries against the Patriots in Week 2. He was aggressive with each carry and showed some of the explosion and power that made him a standout at times last year with the Saints.
Chris Ivory shows fantasy potential in Week 2
Chris Ivory could be a viable starter if the Jets decide to give him more touches. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bilal Powell led the Jets with 13 carries on Thursday night. He rushed for 48 yards and a 3-yard touchdown.
Fantasy impact: In a night where both teams struggled on offense, the Jets running game actually looked decent. Ivory is clearly the superior back, as he brings far more talent to the table than the plodding Powell.
While Ivory is likely going to continue to split time with Powell, he’s worth keeping around on the bench. New York might eventually realize who needs to be getting the majority of the touches in the backfield. Ivory’s stock is up after Thursday.
