Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White returned to team practice on Friday, taking part in limited fashion, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. White is officially listed as questionable for the game, though coach Mike Smith said that he would play.
Roddy White should play, but fantasy value up in the air for Week 2
Roddy White should play in Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

The big question is whether or not White gets significant playing time. The other question is whether or not he’s used as a decoy. In Week 1, White took part in a lot of action, but ran slow routes and was primarily there to take coverage away from tight end Tony Gonzalez and fellow wide receiver Julio Jones. He was never a threat to make a big play.
Will he be a threat in Week 2? It doesn’t seem likely he shows off that explosive play-making ability we’ve seen so many times before, that’s for sure.
Fantasy Impact: White is generally considered a must-start if he’ll be playing or if there’s a solid chance he’ll play, but given how he was used in Week 1 it comes down to a judgment call. If your flex option isn’t attractive, White should be started here, but if you have someone who might have a shot to put up decent stats, that player should probably take White’s spot this week.
