Indianapolis Colts running back Vick Ballard is out for the season with a torn ACL sustained during Thursday's practice. Ballard was the team's starter, though the team was planning on moving toward a 50-50 split with Ahmad Bradshaw when it comes to his carries prior to the injury.
Vick Ballard injury update: Colts RB done, Ahmad Bradshaw is your fantasy starter
Vick Ballard is done for the year, and if you managed to get him, Ahmad Bradshaw is your fantasy starter this Sunday.

Which essentially means that Bradshaw will take on the bulk of the carries, with Donald Brown carrying the ball behind him. Ballard won't see the field again until next season, but it's not the end for the Colts. Bradshaw has been a productive running back in the past, picking up 1,015 yards and six touchdowns with the New York Giants a season ago.
Fantasy Impact: It's clear that Ballard is done, so he should be off of your fantasy team. If you managed to find him available in your league, or if you already scooped him up as a solid handcuff, then Bradshaw is now the starter. Fantasy owners should start him with confidence as well, given that he's looked good thus far. He could end up being better than Ballard in the end, and won't be splitting carries.
