Fantasy impact: There still isn’t a player on the Panthers that has grasped the WR2 spot next two Steve Smith. Brandon LaFell has been given every opportunity and hasn’t exactly capitalized on it to this point. Hixon is still unlikely to receive a full load of snaps, but he could be worth keeping an eye on in deeper leagues. He is outside of the top-80 receivers for this week until further notice, though.
