Panthers vs. Bills: fantasy projections for Cam Newton, E.J. Manuel and C.J. Spiller
We break down the relevant fantasy projections for the Week 2 matchup between the Carolina Panthers and Buffalo Bills.

Carolina Panthers
Head coach Ron Rivera said that his team's passing game was too conservative against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1. With that in mind, you can expect the Panthers to open things up, letting Cam Newton put the ball in the air a lot more. Newton managed just 16 completions for 125 yards last week. but it's likely the yardage total will at least double against the Bills.
Newton’s willingness to throw the ball will most certainly bode well for the likes of wide receiver Steve Smith and tight end Greg Olsen. Smith caught six passes for 51 yards and his first touchdown of the season last week while Olsen grabbed five receptions for 56 yards.
Buffalo Bills
Taking a defeat at the hands of the division rival New England Patriots is a common theme in Buffalo, but E.J. Manuel gave his team a chance to win in Week 1. The rookie out of Florida State threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions last week. He'll probably post similar numbers with a slightly higher yardage total this week, given the Panthers' staunch run defense.
Speaking of the running game, C.J. Spiller has averaged nearly six yards per carry over the last two years and figures to easily eclipse 20 touches this week. Bills' coach Doug Marrone penalized his star for an early fumble in Week 1 and gave more touches to Fred Jackson than he likely will moving forward.
