After missing practice this week, Dwayne Allen was officially listed as inactive for the Colts second game against the Dolphins. Allen has been nursing a hip injury, which forced him to leave early in the season opener against the Raiders.
Dwayne Allen inactive, T.Y. Hilton and Coby Fleener have more fantasy value
Dwayne Allen isn’t playing in Week 2. How does that affect the Colts offense? We break down the fantasy implications.

With Allen out, Coby Fleener moves into the No. 1 spot at tight end. Allen’s absence could also mean more three-receiver sets for the Colts, leaving T.Y. Hilton to play more snaps in Week 2.
Fantasy impact: Hilton is losing playing time because Darrius Heyward-Bey is a better blocking wideout. But with Allen on the sideline, the Colts can't rely on two-tight end sets and feel comfortable about it. Hilton is an explosive receiver with a ton of upside if he gets on the field more.
Fleener only caught one pass in Week 1. His value improves with Allen out, but fantasy owners shouldn’t consider starting Fleener until they see results from him in the Colts new offense.
