Eddie Lacy gets hurt in the first quarter, won’t return for fantasy owners
Eddie Lacy got his bell rung in the first quarter. We break down the fantasy implications.

He took helmet-to-helmet contact from Brandon Meriweather and the trainers took a look at him on the field, and from the looks of things, he was woozy. It was a very hard hit and Meriweather had most of his momentum and should expect a fine.
Fantasy impact: The Packers fell in love with Lacy in the preseason and he ran away with the job. They took Jonathan Franklin in the 2013 draft, but he almost fell out of the rotation late in the preseason. James Starks was the only other back to get a touch or target with his one reception, so there's a good chance this will become a time-share situation should Lacy need to miss time. Starks looks to have the inside edge for carries, but he has a lower upside, plus he also had a big blitz pickup that led to a Randall Cobb score. Starks looks to be the better pickup.
