San Diego Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd was removed from the field on a stretcher after a nasty-looking hit on the first play from scrimmage of the third quarter. Floyd had caught five catches for 102 yards when he left the game.
Floyd was reaching for a pass when he got caught between Philadelphia Eagles' safety Nate Allen and linebacker DeMeco Ryans, sandwiching his head and neck. The game saw a lengthy delay as medical staff attended to Floyd, who was moving his legs as he was removed from the field.
Fantasy impact: These are hugely secondary, of course, as everyone waits and hopes that Floyd is okay. He caught five of his six targets in the game for 102 yards, and looked strong in the process.
For however long his absence lasts, receivers Keenan Allen and Vincent Brown and tight end Antonio Gates stand to see boosts in value, as quarterback Philip Rivers doesn't have many other weapons. Still, though, Floyd's health is the main concern going forward.
