Robert Griffin III tallies three scores for fantasy owners
The Redskins were beaten soundly, but the quarterback still notched 320 yards for his fantasy owners. We break down the fantasy implications.

In his second game back from his ACL injury, quarterback Robert Griffin III had a strong performance for the Washington Redskins Sunday. Griffin went 26-of-40 passing with 320 yards, adding three touchdowns to only one interception, as the team lost to the Green Bay Packers 38-20.
Griffin added four carries for one total yard. The team fell behind early in the game - it was 10-0 after one quarter and 24-0 at halftime - so Griffin was throwing far more than he was passing.
Fantasy impact: It’s games like these that illustrate the difference between real football and fantasy football, as Griffin has fallen far behind early in both games this season before salvaging yardage and touchdowns in garbage time. But for fantasy owners, it all counts, and Griffin’s 320 passing yards and three touchdowns were a welcome sight for those who ran him out there Sunday.
As bad as the Redskins’ defense is, Griffin could see more shootouts and garbage-time play this year, so expect his passing numbers to stay pretty high.
