Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett followed up a 49-yard, one-score outing in Week 1 with seven receptions for 76 yards and two scores Sunday, as the Bears beat the Minnesota Vikings 31-30.
Martellus Bennett gives Bears, fantasy owners two scores
The newest Bear pass-catcher has had a hot start to the season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bennett’s second score came with ten seconds left, giving Chicago a come-from-behind win. He was targeted nine times in the game.
Fantasy impact: Bennett was the third-most-targeted Bears pass-catcher Sunday, behind (unsurprisingly) wide receiver Brandon Marshall and running back Matt Forte. He was targeted only six times a week ago.
The Vikings' defense has struggled against tight ends since last season, so it's hard to say whether his increased usage Sunday is more a result of game plan or of quarterback Jay Cutler growing more comfortable with his new tight end. Either way, though, fantasy owners have to be excited about Bennett's three scores in two games. He should be rising quickly up the tight end lists going forward.
