Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte tallied 161 all-purpose yards Sunday in the team's 31-30 win against the Minnesota Vikings. Forte had 19 carries for 90 yards, adding 11 receptions for 71 yards.
Fantasy owners celebrate Matt Forte’s 161 yards
Even without a touchdown, Forte returned value Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Forte caught all 11 of his targets from quarterback Jay Cutler.
Fantasy impact: All things considered, Forte is the Bears’ best offensive weapon, and has been for several years now. He caught all 11 targets Cutler threw his way. Though he didn’t score, 161 total yards still gave Forte plenty of volume.
Michael Bush, Forte's backup, has only eight total carries for 15 yards through two games, though all those yards came in Week 1. He ran the ball twice for zero yards Sunday, indicating the Bears are likely going to continue going to Forte as much as they can.
The Bears face a struggling Pittsburgh Steelers team next week, so there's a decent chance Forte's value will stay high for at least one more week.
