Johnson has now rushed for 166 yards on 50 carries through two games, a 3.32 yards-per-carry average. He added a single reception for a single yard Sunday against a strong Texans defense.
Fantasy impact: At some point, fantasy owners are going to get tired of waiting for Chris Johnson to ever be Chris Johnson again, with all sorts of potential and a serious lack in production for two straight seasons now. If he’s going to get back on track, the team’s next game against a middle San Diego defense might be the time to do it.
The Titans are now 1-1 despite only 273 total passing yards from quarterback Jake Locker, so they'll need heavy production out of the running game if they want to remain competitive. Johnson will have to be the focus of the offense going forward, so fantasy owners might know once and for all what they have in Johnson soon.
