Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson hauled in eight passes for 76 yards Sunday, but left earlier with a possible concussion as the team beat the Tennessee Titans 30-24 in overtime. Johnson was targeted 13 times.
Andre Johnson scares fantasy owners with possible concussion
The Texans wide receiver left Sunday’s game late in the fourth quarter after a hard hit. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson left the game late in the fourth quarter after a 21-yard completion to the two-yard line, when a hit from Titans safety Bernard Pollard left Johnson possible concussed.
His status going forward is uncertain, and the concussion has not yet been confirmed, But Johnson was not made available to the media after the game, in accordance with league policy that states players with concussions are not to speak to the media after games, so it seems pretty clear.
Fantasy impact: Johnson has a monster game in Week 1 against the San Diego Chargers, with 12 receptions for 146 yards. He was quieter, but still productive, in Week 2, though this possible concussion is the big news from the game.
Fantasy owners will need to monitor Johnson’s status going forward, but if he indeed has a concussion, it wouldn’t be at all a shock to see him miss practice and/or a game going forward. Keep an eye on him.
