Washington Redskins running back ran for 107 yards on just 13 carries in a 38-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 2. He also added a pair of catches for 13 yards and didn't see as much action as fantasy owners would hope with the Redskins facing a 31-point deficit midway through the game.
Alfred Morris posts solid fantasy showing in limited action
Morris managed to put up solid numbers in a game where the Redskins were forced to go to the air a lot. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Morris' performance was encouraging considering the Redskins had no choice but to abandon the running game in the second half. After gaining only 45 yards on 12 carries in Week 1, Morris averaged a whopping 8.2 yards per carry against Green Bay. Though coach Mike Shanahan has been known to use a running back by committee system throughout his career, Morris is without a doubt the team's number one rusher. He's got a good shot at rushing for 100 yards in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions as long as the Redskins don't find themselves in a blow out early.
