Ravens running backs Pierce and Rice put together a combined effort after the latter left the game with a hip injury. We discuss the fantasy implications.


Fantasy impact: Neither Pierce nor Rice played particularly well in the game in terms of fantasy production against the Browns. Although Ravens coach John Harbaugh is optimistic about Rice’s injury situation, the official impact of the hip strain won’t be known until Rice undergoes an MRI. Pierce has been regarded as somewhat of a handcuff to Rice going back to last season, so fantasy owners should keep their eyes peeled for updated injury reports as we get closer to Week 3.
