San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick established himself as a real weapon in fantasy football in Week 1, but looked exactly the opposite against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. Kaepernick led the 49ers to a 29-3 loss at the hands of their NFC West rivals, and couldn't get anything done on offense.
Colin Kaepernick struggles, but should rebound for fantasy owners
Colin Keapernick struggled in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Kaepernick completed just 13 of 28 pass attempts for 127 yards, at 4.5 average yards per reception. He had no touchdowns, and broke down later in the game, with three interceptions. His picks were mostly after the game was out of his grasp, and he was hoping to make things happen. This game came just a week after he threw for 412 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions against the Green Bay Packers.
On the bright side, Kaepernick did manage nine quarterback keepers for 87 yards, including a long of 28 yards. He didn't have any rushing touchdowns, but he was the team's leading rusher. He'll need to bounce back against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 3.
Fantasy Impact: Kaepernick was sporadic in his few starts last year, but he's been drafted with confidence this season. Folks who started him on Sunday have to be upset, though the fact that he led the 49ers rushing and came just short of 90 yards on the ground has to help things a little. Unfortunately, he made them a lot worse with the interceptions. Still, Kaepernick is a young, exciting quarterback who should be able to bounce back. He remains a player that should be started.
