Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles received plenty of time in the teams Week 2 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Charles was dealing with a quad injury suffered in Week 1, but still managed to take every single one of the team's running back carries.
Jamaal Charles plays through injury, should be good for fantasy going forward
Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles played through injury on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Charles carries the ball 16 times for 55 yards with no touchdowns. He added eight receptions for 48 yards and a touchdown. His per-carry average of 3.4 yards was low, but he managed to play as much as the Chiefs needed, and with his numbers in the passing game, he ended up having a productive day.
He wasn’t 100 percent, either. Charles noted that he “felt” his injury throughout the game, especially on the final series, according to the Kansas City Star. It’s a good sign that he was able to pull it together, given his injury history, especially of late.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners who draft Charles do so knowing of his injury history. He was a red flag entering this game with his quad injury, but we recommended you start him anyway. Charles is always a must-start if he's going to play, and it was obvious he was going to play. He didn't put up huge numbers, but he looked good running and next week, could make big things happen against the Philadelphia Eagles. Keep him as your starter fantasy owners.
