Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden is going for an MRI on his right thumb, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Weeden left Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens after smacking his throwing hand on a teammate's helmet. X-rays were negative, but the team is calling it a sprained thumb for now. Jason Campbell came in to finish the game.
Brandon Weeden getting MRI on injured thumb, well off the fantasy radar
Brandon Weeden is getting an MRI on his injured thumb Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Weeden had another poor game before the injury, throwing for 227 yards and 6.9 yards per attempt while failing to move the Browns offense. He also took five sacks and committed three delay of game penalties.
Fantasy impact: So much for the preseason hype. Weeden has not made any progress in his second year in the league and now has the thumb injury to contend with. He's getting Josh Gordon back from suspension, so the Browns finally have a credible deep threat, but Weeden is barely worth a roster stash in two-quarterback leagues. He can be dropped in most fantasy formats.
