Week 2 of the regular NFL season is in the books and fantasy owners are likely scouring the waiver wire looking for possible additions to their teams. Here are some big names to avoid along with some players with big production who might be one hit wonders.

WR Leonard Hankerson, Washington Redskins

Hankerson posted some great numbers in Week 1 catching five passes on seven targets for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Hankerson splits playing time with Josh Morgan and they split snaps evenly in Week 2. Morgan however received double the amount of targets, with six to Hankerson’s three. Until their roles become more clearly defined Hankerson isn’t a solid fantasy play. He only caught three passes for 36 yards Sunday.

RB Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints running back is now in his third year, and has failed to make an impact. His availability on the wire is due to fantasy owners dropping him in droves and you should heed their warning. Through two games, Ingram has 17 carries for 31 yards and not found the end zone. His play has been as bad as the production suggests and you should avoid him at all costs.

WR Kenny Britt, Tennessee Titans

Early in his career Britt was looking like a potential superstar. Off the field issues and injuries stunted his growth and he has failed to live up to expectations. Britt has been quiet through two weeks and was benched by head coach Mike Munchak briefly against the Texans following a holding penalty. Britt was targeted nine times but only caught four passes for 29 yards in the Titans loss to the Houston Texans. He isn't any higher than a WR5 at this point.

RB Andre Ellington, Arizona Cardinals

Ellington appears to have taken over the role as the third down back for the Cardinals, but Reshard Mendenhall is clearly the feature back. Ellington carried the ball four times for 20 yards Sunday against the Detroit Lions while catching two passes for 21 yards and a touchdown. Ellington has value in PPR leagues but should be viewed as a shaky play in standard leagues unless you play in a very deep league. He should be viewed as a boom or bust option there.

RB Danny Woodhead, San Diego Chargers

Woodhead carried the ball nine times for 27 yards and caught eight passes for 37 yards in Sunday's win over the Philadelphia Eagles. In a turnaround from Week 1, Woodhead played ahead of Ronnie Brown with 41 snaps to Brown's 15. With Ryan Matthews also in the mix the Chargers are utilizing a running back platoon with predictable results for fantasy owners. The Chargers do not have a rushing touchdown going into Week 3. Woodhead is averaging 13.5 rushing yards per game and 26.5 receiving yards per game. He has yet to find the end zone in the passing game.
